Regulation No. 1930 on 2015 fishing by Russian vessels in the Economic Zone and the fishery zone around Jan Mayen.

It is prohibited to Russian vessels to fish in the economic zone and the fishery zone around Jan Mayen, between 12 and 200 nautical miles from the shore. They are however authorized to do so for total allowable catch of 200 000 tons of cod, b) 35 000 tons of haddock, c) 47 920 tons of capelin, d) 7875 tons of Greenland halibut, e) 5400 tons of redfish (Sebastes mentella), f) 4 000 tons of redfish (Sebastes norvegicus and Sebastas mentella) - of which up to 2 000 tons may be of direct fishery. g) 12 00 tons of pollock, of which up to 5 000 tons in direct fishery. h) 4 500 tons of catfish, i) 20 000 tons of Norwegian spring-spawning herring between 1 January and 30 May. j) 3 000 tons of other species as bycatch. The quota applies only to species which are not regulated by quota and can only be caught as bycatch when fishing for quota-regulated species. The Fishery Directorate may decide on cessation of fishery activities when the quantities specified in letters a-i are caught. The Regulation enlists fishing zone coordinates (art. 5-6, 8, 12) which are banned from certain fishing methods.
Fishing for redfish with bottom trawls is prohibited between 1 March and 9 May. Vessels that do not have quota of blue whiting can have up to 10% by-catch when fishing for Norwegian spring-spawning herring and up to 5% by weight on landing. Vessels that do not have quota of mackerel have up to 10% by-catch can when fishing for blue whiting and Norwegian spring-spawning herring and up to 5% by weight on landing. Vessels that do not have quota for Norwegian spring-spawning herring can have up to 10% bycatch when fishing for blue whiting and up to 5% by weight on landing.
