Pesticides Act, 2048 (1991).

The present Act concerns the establishment, composition and duties of the following authorities: (a) Pesticides Board, to provide necessary advice on formulating and executing the national policy relating to pesticides; (b) Pesticides Registration Office in charge of registering pesticides, issue the relevant certificates and ascertaining criteria for their rational and appropriate use. Moreover, it provides for the appointment of Pesticides Inspectors for the purpose of investigating on the proper implementation of the Act.
