Abstract
This Ministerial Decision is composed of 8 Chapters and an Annexe.
Articles 1-8 of the attached Regulations deal with general provisions including definitions of terms used. Chapter 2 deals with bans and procedures to be respected in case of export. Chapter 3 concerns bans and procedures to be respected in case import. Chapter 4 covers consignments in transit, whilst Chapter 5 explains the procedure of disinfection of the vehicles of transport. Issues dealing with containing and eradicating pests, such as the examination and the investigation of farmlands, plants and storage sites, are dealt with in Chapter 6. The Annexe enumerates the pests of honey and its related products.

This Ministerial Decision enters into force on 3 June 2006.
Notes
Article 2 repeals Ministerial Decision No. 5 of 1984, Ministerial Decision No. 38 of 1989, Ministerial Decision No. 10 of 1994 and Ministerial Decision No. 11 of 1994 as well as anything else that contradicts the provisions of these Regulations.
