Abstract
This Resolution aims at issuing the Air quality Regulation of Oman for the owners of, or any responsible person for, a source of pollution or work area. The Regulation consists of 9 articles. It prohibits causing or leaving air pollutants exceeding the limits specified in the table attached to the Regulation (art.2). It is mandatory to establish a monitoring station according to some specifications (art.3). The owner has to compliance with the international standards and periodically report about the controls (art.4). When the controls detect the exceeding of the average values, the private control station must be connected to the monitoring station established at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs (art.6).
