Abstract
The purpose of this Act is to preserve and protect wild birds and animals specified in the Schedule. The Provincial Government may declare close times in which it shall be unlawful to capture, kill, possess, sell, etc. any wild bird or animal (sect. 3). Section 4 contains penal provisions. The Provincial Government may, in the interest of scientific research, grant a licence which authorizes any person to do any act declared to be unlawful (sect. 7). (9 sections).
