Act establishing the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture.

This Act, which is composed of 48 articles, establishes tasks and organization of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture which is located in Warsaw. The Agency supports the following activities: (1) investments on agriculture, fishery, agricultural products processing and processing of fishes, crustaceans and molluscs; (2) undertakings related to resumption of production in farms where there were harms caused by drought, hail, heavy rain, frosts, flood, hurricane, lightning or avalanche; (3) improvement of agrarian structure; (4) creation and development of groups of agricultural producers and their associations; (5) development of ecological agriculture and education concerning ecology; (6) education of farmers entitled to special loans and credits (7) collection, transportation and neutralization of dead livestock like cattle, sheep, goats, swine or horses; (8) other task resulting from the national policy relating to agriculture, rural development, rural markets and processing of agricultural products.
