Act establishing the Agency for Restructuring and Modernizing Agriculture.

The Act, which is composed of fifteen paragraphs, establishes the Agency for Restructuring and Modernizing Agriculture, located in Warsaw. The Agency supports the following activities: investments on agriculture, food processing and services concerning agriculture; undertakings in order to start, increase or resume agricultural production; improvement of agrarian structures, particularly creation or expansion of family farms; undertakings creating new working places for the country citizens; development of technical and production infrastructure of small cities, villages and agriculture; undertakings concerning the improvement of professional qualification of country citizens; restructuring of research and development units supporting agriculture and food management; creation and development of agricultural insurance associations; development of information infrastructure of cooperative banks; creation and development of agricultural producers groups and their associations; undertakings concerning production and processing of agricultural raw materials in order to produce biocomponents for liquid fuel production; implementation of other tasks of the national policy concerning agriculture and food processing; high school education of country citizens; development of ecological education and education concerning ecology.
