Regulation on authorized food additives.

This Regulation of the Minister of Health is composed of the following sections: General provisions (sec. 1); Sweeteners (sec. 2); Dyes (sec. 3); Food additives other than sweeteners and dyes (sec. 4); Food additives used in the production of foodstuffs for infants and little children (sec. 5); Transitional and final provisions (sec. 6). The Regulation establishes the list of authorized additive substances which can be marketed and used in food, including flavors, in accordance with their technological functions, and detailed conditions of their use, including type of foodstuffs to which they can be applied, and their maximum levels. The list of authorized food additives is specified in Annex 1.
