Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Climate and Environment, which is composed of four articles, lays down good practice requirements in the field of forest management used during the preparation and implementation of activities in the field of forest management. When preparing forest management activities, the forest owner or a person designated by him: (1) when planning forest management activities, take into account the need to maintain the diversity of development stages of forest stands in the forest; (2) review the available data to verify the presence of the species listed in Annex IV of Council Directive 92/43/EEC and the species of birds to be protected or their potential locations in the forest where the activities will be carried out; (3) carry out a site visit in the forest where these operations will be carried out in order to check the presence of species listed in Annex IV of Council Directive 92/43/EEC and protected bird species or potential places of their occurrence; (4) mark hollow trees, trees with bird nests with a diameter of more than 25 cm and other perennial nests.
