Abstract
This Decree-Law Is composed of five articles and one Annex. It introduces in the national legal system: Commission Directive 2007/40/EC on protected zones exposed to particular plant health risks in the Community; Commission Directive 2007/41/EC on protective measures against the introduction of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community. Accordingly, It amends national legislation, in particular Decree-Law No. 154/2005.

Decreto-Lei n.º 16/2008: Procede à segunda alteração ao Decreto-Lei n.º 154/2005, de 6 de Setembro, transpondo para a ordem jurídica interna as Directivas n.os 2007/40/CE e 2007/41/CE, da Comissão, de 28 de Junho, relativas ao reconhecimento de zonas protegidas na Comunidade expostas a riscos fitossanitários específicos.

Repealed by
Decree-Law No. 67/2020 ensuring the implementation and compliance with obligations arising from Regulation (EU) No. 2016/2031, on protective measures against plant pests, and Regulation (EU) No. 2017/625, on official controls in the field of protection measures against plant pests.
