Abstract
Decree-Law implementing Act No. 30/86. This Decree sets out the technical conditions required by the Act, such as hunting licence (arts. 4-21). The Decree classifies licences in the following manner: (a) general licences: (i) national licence; (ii) regional licence; (b) special licences: (i) licence to hunt deer, etc.; (II) licence to shoot partridges; (iii) licence to shoot water fowl; (iv) licence for non-resident on the national territory.
The Decree describes hunting methods and gear whose use is authorized or prohibited (art. 34). It sets out the hunting regime (chap. III, arts. 54-78) emphasizing the different hunting zones that may be established (arts. 24-27 of the Hunting Act (No. 30/86) mentioned above). The text elaborates a legal framework with regard to the keeping, trading, transport and exhibition of game (chap. VI). Lastly, the Decree sets out the system of offences, penalties and criminal liabilities (chap. VIII, arts. 90-123). The annex includes a list of animals that may be hunted and a list of species the trade of which is subject to special conditions.
