Abstract
This Order is divided into 46 paragraphs and applies to the production, packaging and labelling of forestry seeds (para. 1). The Forestry Institute (IF) is responsible for its implementation, with the obligatory technical support of the Forestry National Research Station (EFN) (para. 2). Seeds listed in paragraph 1 of article 1 of Order No. 134/94 are adapted to the certification system (para. 3). The Order establishes the following categories of seeds: selected, controlled and originating from non-tested orchard seeds (para. 4). Categories of seeds adopted in other countries are accepted only if recognized by the EC or OECD, or if equivalence is recognized by the IF (para. 5). Sampling shall be carried out according to the International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) (para. 12). Paragraphs 32 to 35 regulate certification labels.
