Abstract
This Order, consisting of four articles, establishes eleven as a maximum number of licences to be granted for dredge fishing to be performed in the north-western area. The exercise of dredge fishing in north-western area, is subject to following: a) fishing is permitted from Monday up to 3pm of Saturday; b) Each licensed vessel can fish up to five times per week; c) the following ceilings of bivalve catches are fixed by species or group of species, and vessel: i) 600 kg of white clam (Spisula solid) per day, subject to weekly and monthly limits, respectively, 1800 kg and 4800 kg; ii) 1000 kg of Dog cockle (glycymeris Glycymeris) per day, subject to weekly and monthly limits, respectively, of 2000 kg and 5000 kg; iii) To 500kg of other shellfish, per day; d) logbook filled, regardless of the length of vessel; e) mandatory landing in the ports of Aveiro, Figueira da Foz or Matosinhos.
