Amendment to the Environmental Impact Statement Regulations (Chapter 2401-61): Public Review and Comment.

Regulation 17 of the principal Regulations is amended so as to add a comma in which power is given to the Board to organize public hearings or to require an applicant to hold a public hearing regarding the project for which a draft environmental impact statement is made. This hearing shall be held within thirty days of the date of the notice of availability of the draft and final environmental impact statements. A minor amendment is made to the first comma of the same regulation so as to add the word “draft” before the words ”environmental impact statement”.
