Abstract
This Resolution consisting of 10 articles aims at establishing the Technical Committee to encourage the private sector in food security projects. The main tasks of this Committee, chaired by the Minister of Economy and Trade, are: proposing mechanisms to encourage the private sector to participate in the national development; giving support to the private sector; and identifying the government quota of this support. It shall also develop appropriate solutions to any potential or actual conflict of interest between public and private sectors. Guiding principles: the capital is a fundamental element of the State and private property is an inviolable right, as indicated in the Constitution and the Qatar National Vision 2030. Articles 1, 4 and 5 provide for the composition and rules of procedures of the Committee. Art.6 states that the Committee may establish subsidiary commissions or working groups to examine any issues related to its mandate, prepare studies, or provide consulting or works needed to perform its tasks.

This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
