Abstract
This Law regulates the way of conducting economic activities, of the valorization by agricultural producers, natural persons, of their own agricultural products and the exercise of trade of these products. Economic activity in the agricultural sector shall be intended the activity carried out in their own farm/household by an agricultural producer, a natural person, to obtain agricultural products that exceed the needs for own consumption and are intended for sale on the market. The producer's certificate includes information and data regarding: (a) the name and surname of the agricultural producer; and (b) the name of the products and the area of land exploited, respectively the herds of animals, which are registered in the organized agricultural register by the local public administration authorities within whose radius the land/farm/household is located. The validity of the producer's certificate is one calendar year from the date of issue and its validity is maintained by applying the stamp and signature of the mayor every six months. The producer’s certificate is issued, upon request, to natural persons who opt for carrying out an economic activity in the agricultural sector, after verification of the existence of the land areas, respectively of the herds of farm animals for which the release of the producer's certificate is requested.
