Abstract
This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Serbian Law on plant protection products, determines the Annual Programme of Post-Registration Control of Plant Protection Products for 2020, which is part of this publication (see Annex). Examination of food samples of plant and animal origin for the presence and level of residues of plant protection products within this Annual Programme ensures control over the application of plant protection products. The programme contains: sampling plan, type and number of samples, method of sampling and testing, facilities from which sampling is taken, dynamics of sampling (sampling and testing plan), as well as measures to be taken when it is determined that the residues of plant protection products are higher than the prescribed maximum permitted quantities. Sampling of food of plant and animal origin is carried out: in warehouses for storage and distribution, in facilities for wholesale and retail sale, at primary producers and at border crossings and places of customs clearance. The annual programme includes food of plant and animal origin, from conventional and organic production, which is produced and imported into the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
