Abstract
This Regulation establishes various measures necessary for the early detection and diagnosis of infectious diseases transmissible as spongiform encephalopathies, the methods for the correct and prescribed implementation of the sanitary measures, as well as measures to prevent the spread, control and eradication of infectious diseases.
The provisions of this Regulation shall apply to animals, food of animal origin, animal feed, and the feeding of farm animals.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, except for the provisions of articles 17-45 which will enter into force on 1 April 2011, and provisions of the article 64 which will enter into force on 1 January 2013.
