Abstract
This regulation establishes the detailed rules governing the issuance, format, and use of international catch certificates for fisheries products in Serbia. It specifies three types of official documents: the international catch certificate for fishery products (Form CS), the re‑export certificate for products entering Serbia and subsequently exported again (Form CR), and the confirmation certifying that processed fishery products originate from catches covered by a valid international catch certificate (Form C). The regulation defines key terms such as export, re‑export, import, and consignment, clarifying the movement of fishery products across national borders. It mandates that veterinary inspectors issue confirmations for exported products, ensuring that any fishery products processed within Serbia originate from legally certified catches.
Additionally, the regulation requires that all catch certificates be recorded electronically. This electronic registry must include details such as certificate numbers, the type and quantity of imported fishery products, the country of origin, and the country issuing the certificate. The regulation sets precise deadlines for submitting validated certificates depending on the mode of transport: three days before arrival for general imports, four hours prior for air and rail shipments, and two hours prior for road transport. It also includes an annex listing fishery products exempt from requiring a catch certificate. Several annexed forms and lists constitute integral parts of the regulation: Catch Certificate; Re-export certificate; Certificate that fishery products originate from catches for which a Fish Certificate has been issued; and List of products excluded from the definition of fishery products).
