Abstract
This Regulation determines the manner and defines necessary conditions for obtaining health status in relation to trichinella presence, as well as the way of official control of animals before and after their slaughter as regards the presence of trichinella (all nematodes that belong to species of the genus Trichinella) in animal meat. The Ministry responsible for veterinary affairs can officially grant the health status "free from trichinella" to the holding or compartment where controlled conditions of keeping are applied and verified.
