Abstract
The Act establishes that water uses licences and contracts issued before coming into force of the Water Code shall valid until the expiration date thereof. In the Article 1 of the Federal Law No. 122-FZ on state registration of immovable property and its transactions the wording “separate waterbodies” shall be removed. In the Articles 3 and 4 of the Federal Law No. 101-FZ on delimitation of state property on land the wording “land under waterbodies” shall be removed. Article 18 of the Land Code (No. 136-FZ) shall be supplemented with issue 8 of the following wording: “8. Privatization of the plots of land along the waterside shall be prohibited.” In the Articles 10 and 24 of the Federal Law No. 166-FZ on fisheries and conservation of aquatic biological resources the wording “separate waterbodies” shall be substituted with the wording “ponds, watered sand-pits”.
