Governmental Resolution No. 1730 validating the Regulation on the particulars of compensation for damage caused to forests and natural objects located in them as a result of violation of forest legislation.

This Regulation establishes the procedure for compensation for damage caused to forests and natural objects located therein as a result of violation of forest legislation, including fees and methods for compensation of damage. The person who caused damage shall apply to the state authority exercising federal state forest supervision (forest protection), or the local government exercising municipal forest control, with a written request to provide information on the amount of damage to be compensated, as well as on the payment details necessary to pay funds in compensation for damage. The request must contain the following information: (a) information about the person who caused the harm: surname, name, patronymic (if any), as well as the address of the place of residence - for natural persons; full name, main state registration number, address and location - for a legal entity; (b) information about the representative of the person who caused the damage (if any); (c) the details of the report on an administrative offense, the details of the decision to bring him as an accused; and (d) postal address for sending information and telephone (if available).
