Ministerial Decree No. 442 regarding the setting up of the Federal Ecological Fund and territorial ecological funds.

The Government decrees to set up the federal Ecological Fund and to validate its Statute. This Decree establishes that 10% of the total sum that is forwarded to the non-budgetary ecological funds as charges for the waste disposal and discharge of hazardous substances and other types of environmental pollution, of the sums originating from fines and pecuniary penalties for the infringement of environmental legislation, and the sums originating from sale of the confiscated hunting and fishing gear and of the products of illegal hunting and fishing must be forwarded to the Federal Ecological Fund.
