Abstract
The Government of the Russian Federation decrees to adopt the fines according to the prescribed scale for the damage caused by physical persons, stateless persons or juridical persons by annihilation, fraudulent fishery or harvest of marine biodiversity in inland water basins, territorial waters, continental shelf and EEZ and for the damage caused to anadromous fish originated in the inland water basins of the Russian Federation outside its EEZ up to EEZ and fishing areas of the foreign states. The local administration is entitled to establish the scale of fines to be paid for the species excluded from this Decree. The document contains 2 supplements, of which one is the list of species liable to penalties and the other is the list of regulations repealed or invalidated by this Decree. This Decree, in estimating the amount of fine to be paid in case of offence, does not take into account the size or weight of the annihilated, caught or harvested species.
