Ministerial Decree No.230 of 2000 regarding the formation of database on external boundary of the exclusive economic zone of the Russian Federation.

The Government decrees to entitle Federal Service of Geodesy and Cartography with the function of the formation of database on external boundary of the exclusive economic zone of the Russian Federation and delimitation lines determined by the international agreements of the Russian Federation. The Government establishes that Federal Service of Geodesy and Cartography jointly with the Ministry of Defence and other federal executive bodies concerned carries out the preparation and forwards to the Government the list of geographic co-ordinates that determine the position of the points of departure from which begins the measuring of the width of the territorial sea, and contiguous zone and the list of geographic co-ordinates of the points substituting the line of external boundary of the exclusive economic zone of the Russian Federation and control the correctness of representation on the geographic maps of the lines of the external boundary of the exclusive economic zone of the Russian Federation.
