Abstract
The President of the State Committee for Environmental Protection orders to establish that the norms of permissible limits of hazardous impact on water basins must be elaborated for a water basin or part of it for the purpose of maintaining the state of groundwater or surface water in conformity with the respective ecological requirements. Permissible limits of hazardous impact on water basins must be applied in the process of issuing licenses for water management, carrying out state control over the use and protection of water basins, determination of water charges and fines and legal actions for the compensation of damage caused by the infringement of water legislation.
