Abstract
The President decrees to validate the Main directions of the State strategy according to the Annex. The realisation of the State strategy is directed at the solution of the current socio-economic problems in strict connection with carrying out adequate measures for environmental protection and improvement of natural habitat, economy and restoration of natural resources. The document consists of 4 Chapters. Chapter I lays down the provisions for ecologically safe sustainable development under market economy. Chapter II deals with the protective measures as regards human natural habitat. Chapter III regards ecosystem recreation (restoration) in ecologically unfavourable areas. Chapter IV concerns Russian participation in the solution of global ecological problems.
