Regional Decree No. 69 of 2004 regarding validation of the Regulation on the modalities and conditions for determination of quotas allocated to the applicants for catch (harvest) of aquatic biodiversity for coastal fisheries.

Regional Government decrees to validate the Regulation. The document establishes the modalities and conditions for determination of quotas for catch (harvest) of aquatic biodiversity for coastal industrial fisheries in the internal sea, territorial sea, continental shelf and EEZ allocated to the Russian applicants in accordance with the modalities envisaged by the legislation of the Russian Federation. Determination of quotas must be carried out by the inter-departmental commission for quota setting. Determination of quotas for coastal fisheries must be carried out in accordance with fishing licence issued by the Federal Fisheries Committee for the previous 3 years. Inter-departmental commission concludes agreement on allocation of quotas for coastal fisheries for the period of 5 years.
