Abstract
This Regional Law regulates relations originating in the sphere of fisheries, aquaculture (fishfarming) and conservation of aquatic biological resources. It shall be applicable to fisheries water basins pertaining to the governance of the regional administration. This Regional Law shall govern industrial fisheries, coastal fisheries, artisanal and sport fisheries, fisheries for scientific research purposes, and aquaculture. It sets forth plenary powers of the regional state bodies in the aforesaid sphere. In order to ensure conservation of aquatic biological resources and rational fishery management fisheries restrictions can be imposed in accordance with the acting federal legislation.
