Regional Resolution No. 466-pr validating State Program "Development of the regional fishery complex.”

State Program "Development of the regional fishery complex” envisages investment projects aimed at modernizing and creating private fish hatcheries. The construction and modernization of private fish hatcheries are being implemented on small rivers of the Khabarovsk Territory, and a fish-breeding complex for growing various types of fish in closed-loop water supply systems is also being built. At the fish breeding complexes under construction, it is planned to reproduce chum salmon, pink salmon, and sturgeon fish.
As a result of the implementation of such investment projects, the following capacities will be created: for the release of juvenile salmon fish species of more than 100 million pieces per year (design capacity); for the production of fish products from aquaculture species grown in closed water supply systems.
The goal of State Program "Development of the regional fishery complex” is to ensure the sustainable development of the fishery complex by increasing its contribution to the gross regional product by 2030.
The main priority areas and objectives for the development of the fishery complex are: (a) sustainable development and modernization of fisheries and domestic market infrastructure, stimulation of the production of fish products with a high degree of processing; (b) development of artificial reproduction of aquatic biological resources; (c) development of aquaculture; (d) providing the population with high-quality food and other products from aquatic biological resources; (e) development of production of fish products and raw materials that comply with established environmental, sanitary-epidemiological, veterinary and other requirements; (f) increasing the volume of investments in fixed assets; and (g) increasing the export of fish products with high added value.
