Abstract
This Act is composed of 6 Chapters divided into 25 articles. General provisions (chap. I). Supervision, control and exploitation of pastures, country-forests and public forests are the competence of the Ministry of Agriculture and Waters (art. 2). The Ministry of Agriculture and Waters defines the protected areas (art. 3). The Ministry of Agriculture and Waters can create the forest guard (art. 4). The pastures are to be considered as a public lands owned by the State (art. 5). Afforestation (chap. II). Afforestation of the public forests and country-forests considered useful is of the competence of the Ministry of Agriculture and Waters (art. 6). The Ministry of Agriculture and Waters can provide gratis citizens with the surplus nursery-plants to afforest their private forests as well as the Ministry offers to them advises and technical services (arts. 7 and8). Exploitation of public forest and transportation of public forest products and country forest products are to be authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Waters (arts. 9 and10). Forbidden things (chap. IV). Cutting, eradication, burning, transportation, harm and damage trees or nursery-plants or grass of the public forests as well as construction and working without authorization are prohibited (arts. 12 and 13). Penalties (chap. V). Concluding provisions (chap. VI).

Entry into force notes
This Act enters into force 1 month after the date of its publication in the Official Gazette (Umm Alqura).
