Abstract
These Regulations lay down rules as regards: (i) the responsibilities of the Administration; (ii) declarations of security; (iii) the responsibilities of the Ports Authority, Port Security Officers, Port Facility operators, port employees and agents, and other port users in terms of port security; (iv) the obligations of ships entering into port; (v) the responsibilities for ship security; (vi) contingency procedures for ships and at port; (vii) security trainings for ships and at ports; (viii) fees and charges for the issuance of an International Ship Security Certificate, for any endorsement on a certificate, for the issuance of an interim certificate, and for the conduct of any verification; (ix) development of Guidelines, Standards and Codes of Practice and their application in consistency with the ISPS Code; and (x) offences for the breach of these Regulations.
