Abstract
These Regulations constitute the National Parks Authority as be a body corporate. They also provide for internal matters of the Authrity and define its functions.
The Authority shall, among other things; (a) be responsible for the protection and management of a National Park; (b) implement policies and programmes for the protection and management of a National Park; (c) monitor and control all activities concerned with the management and protection of a National Park; (d) perform such other functions with respect to the conservation of flora and fauna in a National Park as may be conferred on it by or under any written law. The Authority may advise the Minister on policies and written laws concerned with the protection and management of a National Parks.
