Act relative to the protection of denominations, etc. of agricultural products and food and related matters.

This Act completes the implementation of provisions of Council Regulation (EC) No 2081/92 of 14 July 1992 on the protection of geographical indications and designations of origin for agricultural products and Council Regulation 2082/92 on certificates of specific character for agricultural products and foodstuffs. The Government shall appoint a public body for control of correct implementation of the Regulations. Powers of control of the body to be appointed are specified in section 4. (8 sections)
