Decree relative to animal feed and by-products of animal origin (2006:814).

This Decree completes and implements provisions of the Act relative to animal feed and by-products of animal origin. It requires the Government to notify the provisions of basic EC legislation that shall complete provisions of the Act and grants regulation-making powers to the State Agricultural Agency to complete provisions of EC legislation Sweden. Matters to be regulated include exemption from conditions to use wild animals as animal feed, requirements for laboratories for the analysis of animal feed, criteria for the importation of feed from third countries, the placing on the market of and international trade in animal by-products and the use of animal by-products in specified circumstances.
