Decree on the organization, equipping and training of forces for protection, rescue and assistance.

This Decree regulates the criteria for organizing, equipping and training Civil Defense, fire brigades and other forces for protection, rescue and assistance in the event of natural and other disasters. As a rule, the following units and services shall be organized and appointed by the Civil Protection authorities for the performance of protection, rescue and assistance tasks: first aid units; veterinary first aid units; technical rescue units; units for radiological, chemical and biological protection; units for protection against unexploded ordnance; units for the use of shelters; avalanche triggering service; support services; Civil Defense commanders and their deputies and Civil Defense headquarters; Commissioners for Civil Protection and their deputies; information centers; logistics centers; other units and services.
