Abstract
This Act, which is composed of 18 articles and two Annexes, lays down, in accordance with European Union regulations: (a) measures for the promotion and improvement of energy efficiency; (b) obligations in the development of policy documents on energy efficiency; (c) rights and obligations relating to energy efficiency; (d) rules for carrying out energy audits; (e) details on providing energy services; (f) providing information concerning energy efficiency. The present Act provides indicative energy efficiency targets for to be reached in 2020 and applies to all forms of energy products.
