Act no. 24/2006 on Environmental Impact Assessment.

This Act regulates the procedure to be followed for Environmental Impact Assessment: (a) the process of expert and public assessment of foreseeable environmental impacts including strategy doicumentation during preparation and prior to the approval and proposed activities before the decision; (b) the competence of state administration bodies and the competence of municipalities in the assessment of the impacts; (c) the rights and obligations of participants in the impact assessment process.
The present Act is composed of the following Sections: Basic provisions (Sec. 1); Assessment of strategic documents (Sec. 2); Assessment of proposed activities (Sec. 3); Assessment of implementing effects (Sec. 4); Competence of state administration (Sec. 5); Common, transitional and cancellation provisions (Sec. 6).
