Abstract
This Act lays down (1) veterinary requirements for animal health, hatching eggs and semen, embryos and ova of animals; (b) veterinary requirements for products of animal origin including animal by-products, feedstuffs and selected products of plant origin; (c) veterinary requirements for animals, hatching eggs and products of animal origin, including animal by-products in the interest of human health protection; (d) rights and obligations of natural persons and legal entities in the veterinary field, as well as professional veterinary activities; (e) organization and competence of the authorities in charge of the state administration in the veterinary field; ((f) penalties for breaching obligations laid down by this Act. The present Act is composed of the following Sections: (1) Basic provisions; (2) Public authorities competent in the field of animal health; (3) Veterinary requirements applicable to animals, hatching eggs, embryos, semen and products of animal origin; (4) Obligations of legal persons and natural persons; (5) Compensation of damages caused by animal diseases and charges for veterinary inspection and veterinary control; (6) Offences and penalties; (7) Common, temporary and final provisions.
