Abstract
This Notification aims to have food quality assurance measures prescribed for food standards and consumer protection for food safety. The Attachment of the Notification gives the good manufacturing practice (CMP) criteria on food hygiene for production processes, production equipment, and foods storages. The food producers for sale, as stipulated in Clause 1 of the Notification, are required to follow the attachment in the Notification. Importers of food for sale, as stipulated in Clause 1, are required to hold certificates of production processes, production equipment, and foods storages with criteria not inferior to criteria as prescribed in the attachment in the Notification.
