Act No. 2674 on Territorial Sea of the Republic of Turkey.

This Law establishes the limit of the territorial sea at six nautical miles from baselines to be determined by the Council of Ministers. The baselines shall be marked on a large-scale map. Delimitation of the territorial sea of Turkey and adjacent or opposite states shall be effected by Agreement. The Council of Ministers may in special circumstances extend the breadth of the territorial sea beyond six nautical miles. Waters on the land side of the baselines are considered to be internal waters of Turkey. (7 articles)
