Abstract
The Council of Ministers has decided that, in view of the characteristics of the seas surrounding the Republic of Turkey and the principle of equity, the prevailing situation in the Black Sea and in the Mediterranean before the entry into force of Act No. 2674 on the Territorial Sea of the Republic of Turkey, the breadth of the territorial sea will be maintained at six nautical miles.
