Law No. 3359 on health services.

This Law regulates the basic principles related to health services. The Ministry of Health coordinates, financially supports and develops the health institutions and organizations to provide equal, quality and efficient service throughout the country. This Law provides for the training and follow-up of citizens on prevention from diseases, healthy environment, nutrition, mother-child health and family planning and similar issues. Furthermore, this Law lays down provisions on the organization of the health institutions, appointment of health personnel, health services provided by local administrations and unions, cooperation between the health institutions and the Ministry, and the procedures for testing any treatment method or tool on humans and animals.
