Notification on the composition, duties and working principles of the Watershed Management Committee and Provincial Water Management Coordination Committee.

This Notification lays down rules for the composition, duties and working principles of the Watershed Management Committee and Provincial Water Management Coordination Committee, in order to ensure coordination between all relevant institutions during the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the watershed management plans. Therefore, the Watershed Management Committee and Provincial Water Management Coordination Committee shall be responsible for the coordination between the institutions engaged in water conservation, flood control, protection of water basins, pollution control, watershed management, potable water supply, prevention of water shortage, protection of environment, and sustainable use of water resources.
