Abstract
This Notification lays down the basic requirements that must be met to ensure the safe supply of consumer products within the scope of the Notification to the market. Market surveillance and inspection of consumer products covered by this Notification shall be carried out by the Ministry of Trade. The products within the scope of the Notification must meet the minimum safety standards required for human health, life and property safety, animal and plant health, environmental protection and consumer protection.

Entry into force notes
Lines 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the table in the Annex shall enter into force on 1 January 2017, and other provisions enter into force on the day it is published in the Official Gazette.

The provisions of this Notification are enforced by the Ministry of Trade.A consolidated version of the present Notification, as last amended in 2022, is attached.
