Abstract
The aim of this Notification is to ensure that spices are produced with the right technique and sanitary procedures. The Notification covers all types of spices. It defines the product features of types of spices and the rules and procedures of preparation, processing, packaging, labelling, conservation, storage, transportation and sales. The Notification further covers provisions on additives, contaminants, pesticide residues and hygiene.
