Abstract
The aim of this Notification is to ensure that tahini is produced with the right technique and sanitary procedures. The Notification covers the product features of each type of tahini and the rules and procedures of preparation, processing, packaging, labelling, conservation, storage, transportation and sales. The Notification further covers provisions on additives, aromatic substances ,contaminants, pesticide residues and hygiene.
