Notification No. 2015/39 on veterinary inspection of imported and transit goods at border checkpoints.

In order to implement Article 11 of the Regulation on the organization of veterinary checks on products entering into the country, this Notification determines rules on transfer of imported and transit goods, with regard to the transhipment by sea or air, to veterinary border checkpoints for inspection. This Notification sets out provisions on person responsible for following up the inspection procedures and minimum and maximum time limits for inspection. This Notification has been drafted in accordance with the European Council Directive No 97/78/EC laying down the principles governing the organization of veterinary checks on products entering the Community from third countries.
