Notification No. 2020/25 on supporting rural economic infrastructure investment within the scope of rural development.

This Notification lays down the procedures and principles regarding the support of innovative investments of real and legal persons, primarily women and young entrepreneurs, in agricultural-based economic activities, in order to provide economic and social development in rural areas, to develop agricultural and non-agricultural employment, and to increase and differentiate incomes, during 1/1/2021-31/12/2025. The objectives of this Notification are to (I) raise the income level in rural areas, (II) promote small-scale family businesses to ensure the integration of agricultural production and agro-industry, (III) develop agricultural marketing infrastructure, (IV) strengthen food security, (V) create alternative income sources in rural areas, (VI) strengthen the rural economic infrastructure, (VII) disseminate the use of new technologies developed for agricultural activities by producers, (VIII) increase the effectiveness of rural development activities, and (IX) contribute to the creation of local development capacity in rural societies.
