Notification No. 2021/7 on supporting self-irrigation systems within the scope of rural development.

This Notification lays down provisions for extending the use of modern pressurized irrigation systems by producers, providing production with better quality and suitable for market demand, and raising the level of income in rural areas. This Notification shall apply to determined self-irrigation systems between 30 January 2021 and 31 December 2025. This Notification sets forth the duties and responsibilities of the General Directorate, Provincial Directorate and District Directorate under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry under this Notification. The areas of investment are as follows: a) drip irrigation system, b) sprinkler irrigation system, c) micro sprinkler irrigation system, d) drum irrigation system, e) linear or center pivot system, and f) solar-powered irrigation systems. Furthermore, this Notification sets forth procedures for application and evaluation and investments. This Notification extends the application period to 8 May 2023 in the provinces that were damaged due to the earthquakes that occurred on 6 February 2023 and were declared disaster areas.
